About your guide
Eric Tipler has spent the past twenty years working with teenagers as a high school teacher, writing coach, and college admissions counselor. He’s also the author of Write Yourself In: The Definitive Guide to Writing Successful College Admissions Essays, published by Simon & Schuster in 2024.
Eric’s students have attended the country’s top colleges and universities, including all eight Ivy League schools. He holds degrees from Harvard and Yale, and he is a member of the National Association for College Admission Counseling.
